Accurate temperature screening in Milestone XProtect
May 15, 2020, Hangzhou, China - Hikvision, an IoT solution provider with video as its core competency, announces a new temperature screening integration with Milestone XProtect® versions 2020R1. The plugin-based integration enables the XProtect Smart Client to display skin-surface temperatures in the live feed and during playback, and to receive elevated temperature alarms in the Smart Client Alarm Tab. With the new desktop notification feature in the 2020R1 release, operators get instant notification of and can respond to any elevated temperatures detected.
Hikvision announces integration of HikCentral and Nedap AEOS Access Control Solution
September 21, 2020 – Hikvision, an IoT solution provider with video as its core competency, has announced the integration of its HikCentral video security platform with the Nedap AEOS Access Control Solution to provide single-platform operations for users who maintain both Hikvision and Nedap systems. The integration, via Nedap AEOS Connector, provides event information, alarms, and person-data synchronization of access control and intrusion events between AEOS-connected hardware and HikCentral. This integration enables operators to manage doors, detectors and intrusion areas, as well as visually verify and handle alarms in HikCentral Clients.
Foxstream joins Hikvision’s HEOP program with embedded FoxIntruder application for thermal cameras
April 12, 2021 - Hikvision, an IoT solution provider with video as its core competency, today announced Foxstream has joined the Hikvision Embedded Open Platform (HEOP) program for the FoxIntruder edge-based intrusion detection solution – which is now available for Hikvision’s range of DS-2TD2137/VP thermal cameras. With this integration, FoxIntruder can now be embedded directly into Hikvision’s thermal cameras at the edge to provide an extremely reliable and easily deployable end-to-end solution for high security perimeter protection. This solution also features less bandwidth and lower latency than server-based solutions.
